Growing apple is not a big deal. We in Vietnam have regions with cool climate. Gives us 3 or 5y then we will sell apples to China. Same for other fruits.

Yes, China produces huge quantities of locally produced temperate fruits. And we have a very sophisticated warehousing and logistics system and prices are very stable.

And most of the world's countries produce fruits that compete in the Chinese market. It's not easy for Serbian fruits to compete for the Chinese market.

I also think they are too optimistic, the Chinese market is very competitive. For example, your Vietnamese fruits have been beaten by the Thais, and Thai fruits are being beaten by the Malaysians.
