Sincerely, If it happens, it is good.
All the nations of the world have the right to have nukes, like all these superpowers.
Well when finally the liberals win the next elections, you might just have to eat your words
The liberals had stated that they will sell Uranium for civil nuclear purposes to India
ummm.. A forum is not always the best place to give predictions on the fly....
as if we are dying to get Uranium from Aussiland
That PM Howard Chap was a Mandarin Speaking Chinese Slave!
He sold most of the resources of Australia to China during his Long Term!
Making the Aussie Economy dependent on China's Imports!
Australians have virtually become Chinese Slaves!
Who is that 'responsible' nation in the world? the one who used on Japan? any other example of use of nukes?
No. Nuclear weapons are horrible and dangerous weapons and all nukes in the world should be destroyed. They were once used as a deterant by countries like the U.S and Russia but they are now used by North Korea and Iran to threaten other peaceful countries.

india is not going to use the uranium received buy australia to make a nuclear bomb , it needs uranium to meet its ever increasing energy demands , our energy demands are gonna increase two folds in few years , thus the indian gov has set a target of producing 20000 mw of nuclear energy to facilitate this demand by 2020 , we already have a lot of nukes with us so why produce more , if australia can't undersand this we will have to start looking for other options , we have already signed some uranium deals with kazakistan should even approach canada , when countries like the U.S can sign nuclear deals with india why can't australia?
The next election I plan to start a signature campaign among Indians to vote for the party that is willing to supply uranium to India. Former Australian Prime Minister Howard was pragmatic and was all for supplying India with uranium under safeguards. Even though not a big fan of current opposition leader Tony Abbot he will get my vote the next election.
Because India hasn't signed the NPT. At the end of the day, it's the Indian governments loss, not ours.

lets see too how much time u will do this?????
anyway...it doesnt mean without oz uranium ,our reactors wont work...there are lot of countries which are ready to have cop'n despite of signing npt.
Yeh everyone knows India can get uranium from other countries, it has been said about 5000000 times and it doesn't change anything. It's irrelevant to the discussion about Australian sales to India.
FEDERAL Resources and Energy Minister Martin Ferguson came under fire recently when a leaked diplomatic cable revealed that in 2009 he told the US embassy in Canberra that ‘‘a deal to supply India with nuclear fuel could be reached in three to five years’’.
He'll get mine as well but not because of the indian thing just cuz labour sucks a$$
Also i dont think its very australian to sell uranium to india just because your from india or have indian heritage.
Id support a australian signature campaign but just indians no?
Just another form of segregation which i hate.
I hate any sign or form of segregation as much as you.
How do you reckon it is un-australian to sell uranium to India irrespective of my heritage? What is the basis of your opinion?
