Saudi woman to get 10 lashes for driving a car

^^^i dont think saudi law has anything to do with shariah.more of a tribal tradition...
and a matter of road safety as women are generly bad drivers.

Thats a very sexist mindset when women have less road accidents as a % compared to men hence why their insurance is less

few months back at early morning school time i was going to islamabad air port and trrafic was jammed when when we reached at end i see a lady corrola messed up with a suzuki from back and pak army solders was helping to free the road as there was some VVIP visit same day and convoy move on same road .hahahahahahahah i still remember it as i was angry to reach air port .

this is brutality and cruelty. there are certainly other ways to punish the woman like penalty or some kind of fine.

Saudis prefer the more traditional style of punishment, whiping a girl will give their ego's a boost and release some sexual frustations they had locked away :agree:

Nothing quite like a leather clad whip on the back of a women's back :D

lol...i know...and since i want to live..i dont say this in front of a woman driver....or i risk being run over by a car....
even courts are lenient with them .... female drivers get far lesser punishment for same offences compared to men.

Being 'too safe' is also a danger on the road but i find the OAP's are worse of the lot. I drove in europe few years ago and had to overtake them for going 40km/hr, i found myself getting irate and giving them the horn (sometimes worse) but it might be due to their bad eyesight.
