Saudi TV presenter who was fired for not being pretty enough, sues channel

You know I always say. maybe we are a little bit closed off, but at least we are no Iran. I cringe at the thought.

What you said in your previous post just described a jungle:

"...One judge would sentence a man to 1 year for stealing the other will sentence the same man for the same crime 10 years and another will rule to cut off his hand...."
But what we could expect from a country ruled base on sperm a country that its people are called after their rulers as if they don't have no identity as a nation just a big tribe.

That's not how it is. It totally depends on the individual case and the judge (s). The law in KSA is clear.

If KSA is a "jungle" how come is it then one of the most wealthy states in the world, one of the most safe ones with one of the lowest crime rates in the world? Much better than Iran on those fronts.

Why was KSA ranked number 34 on the 2014 Human Development Index? Far ahead of Iran.

Out of all Muslim states in the world only Qatar scored a higher place (32).

What is now Iran was ruled by sperm for almost 3000 years until 36 years ago. Just like most of the world was for millenniums.

In fact today to rule Iran (to be the Supreme Leader) you have to have sperm that originates in Hijaz, KSA to become the Supreme Leader. In other words you have to be a Sayyid or Sadah. Or at least claim so……

Arabia is still an integral part of the name of KSA. Arabia is one of the oldest geographical regions on the planet. Besides dozens of countries are named after persons.

Besides a name does not matter. KSA will always be Arabia. Like it always was. So will all the ancient historical regions. Hijaz remains Hijaz. Just like it remained Hijaz when it was controlled by various ruling families, empires, caliphates, kingdoms etc.

That video is a video of school boys in one school giving Ba'yah. This is one isolated incident and I have never seen something like this before. Personally I think that it is retarded but it's totally harmless. Just like I think that some Shia practices during Ashura are retarded.

What is certain is that both KSA and Iran have leaderships that like to flash themselves evident by all those public portraits, parades. I find it backward personally and not needed and I would never do something like that or have a picture of any leader in my house. I worship Allah (swt) alone.

What's the big deal? She got out of journalism school in the west fed crap about media and conduct, wrote lengthy essays and gender issues studies?

This is the real world, many of your audience would prefer a pretty face over whatever garbage is coming out of your mouth.

This isn't just for her, it's true for lots of places, US is a perfect example, 9/10 women in this business are good looking and 8/10 are bombshells. Your audience is predominantly male.
