Goddess.

That's what I was thinking. Behind a Niqaab with your face covered it wont matter whether you look like a supermodel or a hideous witch. So firing her for not being pretty was surprising.

However I have a doubt. there was an upraor a few days ago against a Saudi woman who showed her face in UAE television and some muftis said that since she is Saudi citizen it is not allowed or something. Please clarify that.
Saudi Cleric's Wife Shows Face on TV, Sparking Uproar

No you got this all wrong. The cleric said that there is no religious text that says a woman must cover her face and that it is not really important to do so and to prove it he appeared with his wife on TV. On MBC which is based in the UAE not UAE television. It is the single largest media group in the Middle East.

Women in Saudi Arabia don't have to cover their faces. The wearing of niqab is more a social rule than a state imposed one. As with many rules, there are no rules set in place for the Islamic stuff like covering their face etc. as the state says this is a "social issue" meaning if the society tomorrow decides it is okay if women don't even wear a hijab then that's fine, that's what the society wants.

TV news presenters don't wear niqab. And anyone who doesn't want to Simply just won't to and no one can say a thing about it.

This is why there are no clear state laws on what constitutes an Islamic dress code. The religious police however try to impose whatever they want. Of course those days are long past of them roaming around like gods and now people simply depose the sight of those hell hounds.

Lashing is not minimum punishment in Saudi Arabia, there is no clear guidelines to punishment because or law system is all over the place. One judge would sentence a man to 1 year for stealing the other will sentence the same man for the same crime 10 years and another will rule to cut off his hand. There are no guidelines and religious zealots like it that way.

The modernization of the law system with the new more secular courts coming into play made possible that law suits such as this one can pass and they gradually have drained the power from the religious courts. This is why King Salman sacked the minister of justice since he was part of the liberalization project that was allied with the Tuawijri . It's complicated .
of course there is no rule . heck there is no constitution :lol:

its a jungle out there . but it's just hypocrisy that normal citizens will be beheaded if they don't wear hijab , but the media of saudi family can have presenters without hijab .

just sayin ..... :lol:

How dumb are you exactly my Arab-obsessed stateless Kurdi? Despite getting conquered on all fronts by Arabs (militarily, religiously, culturally, linguistically and even to some extent ethnically) you are your usual self.

There is a constitution in KSA. Do your fake wannabe Arab Mullah's have a constitution in your poor and isolated country?

Women getting beheaded for not wearing a hijab? Too much heroin for the stateless Kurd. Get back to your cave.:lol:

There is both state and private owned media in KSA. It's not like in your Mullahstan where certain satellite channels are banned.

In fact the GCC is home to the largest, most watched and most famous TV channels in the Muslim world by far. As well as the largest media groups.

:lol:

Now get lost and worry about your cousins in Afghanistan and Tajikistan instead.

Check this notorious Arab-obsessed clown out;

@Mosamania @JUBA @Rakan.SA @Full Moon @Frosty @Yzd Khalifa @Arabian Legend @BLACKEAGLE @Altamimi @Gasoline @Ahmed Jo @Halimi etc.

This is likely to be nonsense news. Photos or it never happened. Given the author of this thread this kind of thread is not surprising. Talk about making nonsense threads.

You know I always say. maybe we are a little bit closed off, but at least we are no Iran. I cringe at the thought.
