Pre-71, G-3 Rifles and MG42's were manufactured at Wah. Gazipur only made Chinese rifles. But now BOF is making BD-08 rifles and H&Ks for SFs.

Note the lines of the MP-5 are similar to the Sturmgewehr, the world's first true assault rifle. Germans make great firearms. If Hitler and the Reich had this weapon in 1939 instead of 1944, WW2 may have turned out a bit differently.

The Americans had what could have been the first true assault rifle in the little M-1 carbine. Intermediate cartridge, large capacity box magazines. But it was designed as a semi-auto. By 1945, they had the M-2, the select-fire version, which saw some action on Okinawa.

Brother - our Prophet(PBUH) was Arab. And there is a Hadith the Mafhoom/general meaning(I don't remember the exact wording, I don't want to mis-quote here) of which is to the effect that, we should respect and regard Arabs for three reasons. 1st, our Prophet(PBUH) was born an Arab. 2nd, the language of the Heavens is Arabic. And third, the Quran was revealed in Arabic.

Please excuse the people here who say rude and obnoxious comments like that. The comment was uncivilized, and yet you replied in a very civil and jovial manner. For a millennium, Muslims were defended and protected everywhere by the Arabs. And even after that with the Osmani Khilafat of the Turks, the Khalifa felt responsible for Muslims everywhere. As shown in incidents such as - the Khalifa sending artillery&gunnery experts to Indonesia, to make the Indonesian Muslims capable of manufacturing their own modern weapons and being able to defend themselves.

MG-42s were never in use. I am sure you are referring the the MG-3? We don't make them, Pakistan does.

We don't make any H&K rifle either, other than the G-3.

We do make the BD-08 (a.k.a Type-81).
