I just watched the video and it was disgusting. She was killed in middle of a street while begging for life.
Everything that is done in the Kingdom is Islamic, dont you dare argue now!
If this is true, the person who was in-charge of her beheading must be prosecuted and punished severely.
There is no need for painkillers, these human rights people are stupid - cutting off the arteries and nerves in the throat immediately finishes the pain. No need for painkillers at all. Besides, nothing less than complete anesthesia can make it painless. No death is painless.“This woman was beheaded without painkillers – they wanted to make the pain more powerful for her,” said Muhammed al Saeedi, a human rights activist as he explained the two ways in which people are beheaded.
“One way is to inject the prisoner with painkillers to numb the pain and the other is without the painkiller,” he informed.
If she did in fact commit those crimes, raping and murdering a seven year old child, then killing her is an acceptable and appropriate punishment.

But it shouldn't have taken three strikes, that's the only inhumane part. The executioner should be held responsible. If she was hysteric or resisting an moving too much, she should have been restrained properly.
Watched the video too - she was clearly dead after the first strike. Stupid mediaIt took 1 blow. Just watched the video. There are around 10-15 executioners in KSA. Mostly held by Afro-Arabs and it's a occupation that is inherited. If you watch the video you will see that the child-murderer and child-rapist was hysteric and did not want to kneel down. So she was beheaded while laying down. Yet killed instantly. Nothing the executioner could do here.
Painkillers? This must be a joke with all due respect. Was the 7 year old child that she brutally killed and raped given painkillers? Are painkillers given to people that are about to be executed in Pakistan and elsewhere? I highly doubt so. In any case she was rightly denied this luxury given the nature of her heinous crime.
I won't shed a single tear for her or any person doing such heinous crimes.
This makes it sound like she was screaming after the first few strikes and was brutally tortured before dying, which is clearly not the case. The video is on [Edit: Why is the name of a certain website censored, despite being supported by the PDF video function? Live. Leak.] if anyone wants to check.A video showed how it took three blows to complete the execution, while the woman screamed “I did not kill. I did not kill.”
I think it's time for KSA to ban public beheadings. I might be most painless way of capital punishment but it's too barbaric for a civilized society. But it's their country & they have full right to enforce their rules.

But it really gives KSA a very bad image among other countries. And international media always report with a catchy headline like " KSA beheads another women" .. And normal person like me reading the news really gets very bad impression even when it's not true.Less than 100 people on average attend the 80 or so executions that KSA performs each year across a country that is bigger than Western Europe. Most of the onlookers are relatives of the victim (s). In the US and other countries that have the capital punishment relatives of victims are also given the opportunity to witness the execution of the condemned.
I don't see a beheading with a sword as more "barbaric" than a lethal injection, gas chamber, hangings, firing squads etc. Executions are not supposed to be "civilized". They are supposed to punish criminals and deter crime. In KSA the crime levels are one of the lowest despite KSA being home to one of the most diverse and one of the biggest diasporas (migrants) in the world.
Why? Because people respect the law and are aware of the consequences if they cross the line.
Lastly nobody forces people to attend a public execution. There is a visible distance between the onlookers and the execution spot as well.
Nothing new. Daily you have propaganda against KSA. It's hilarious brother. KSA has many ills just like EVERY other society but the media is making the ground realities 1000 times worse whenever KSA is mentioned in Western media.

His main concern, in this case, would be not to have a child-murderer and child-rapist looming around and killing and raping his 7 year old child the next time.Excellent.
One less child-murderer and child-rapist alive. Let this serve as an example to future murderers and rapists. Such crimes are not and will never be tolerated in KSA.
Beheadings with sword are one of the quickest and most painless ways of execution. Cheap too.
KSA will continue to do what she believes is right in terms of punishments. Let the outrage from ignorants continue. Meanwhile KSA remains one of the most crime free countries on the planet.
I am in support of a harsh penal code regardless of it deriving from Islamic law or not.
Nice attempt of trolling. No such thing. This has moreover been discussed 100's of times on PDF already.
First of all he was barely a "cleric" to begin with and the lunatic is currently held in a psychiatric ward and likely never to get out. The guy was/is insane hence he cannot be executed but if I had to decide he would be gone too. Nothing to do with him being an national as KSA executes more nationals than non-nationals. Silly attempt really.
No KSA's judiciary is far from perfect but which judiciary is perfect? Each year dozens of murderers escape punishment everywhere on the planet and innocents also get executed. Be it in the US or China. That's just how it is and will continue to be sadly.
Although nothing in this case points to her being innocent. Anyone feeling "sorry" for a child-murderer and child-rapist just because she is a woman need urgent help and should quit "preaching" here. Better take her to your country and pay for her prison expenses etc. Or just free her so she can rape and kill your family.
