MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. Russia’s Kalibr cruise missile was finetuned after it had been used during the campaign in Syria, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said in his interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets published on Sunday.

The minister noted that an instruction to finetune the Kalibr missile had been given by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Shoigu explained that earlier it "took so long to upload a flight mission for the Kalibr missile that a target could be missed." "Today it takes much less to upload a flight mission for Kalibr," the minister said.

In total, some 300 types of weapons have been finetuned given Russia’s experience in Syria and another 12 pieces, which had been earlier considered as promising, were taken out of production and service, Shoigu noted.

Of course, due to Assad's greed for power Syria has long turned into a test bed/field where Major world and regional powers: Russia, FRANCE, U.K, Israel, Iran, and even Turkey have have been testing the efficacy of their weapon systems and upgrading them accordingly.

Syria is a small country. Syria is nobody. If I'm not mistaken, Syria only spans a few hundred kilometers from one end to another. A small country is always a vassal of a big country.

it is good for russia if this missile is produced in large number but due to weak economy russia has not produced large number of cruise missiles like u.s has produced tomohawk which they use like ordinary rockets due to availability of thousands of tomohawks in u.s stockpile

What do you mean by vassal? Cooperation whereby one country can have independent foreign and strategic policy while another country can't is vassal relationship of the 2nd country with the first.

Libya is vassal of Arabs under current set up. Libyan political setup has huge interference of Arabs and USA.

Pakistan is a vassal of Saudi Arabia. Pakistan was once a vassal of USA too and allowed USA to use its own soil to bomb its own people!

In case of India, it is Indian PM who is in USA and championing Trump for 2nd term. RSS is campaigning for Trump in democrat stronghold and will deliver these to Trump in 2020 elections. And then you say that India is vassal of USA! Lol!
