Its a multi role jet not ground attack jet which means it have both capabilities (Air superiority (First mission)) then Ground attack (ground attack (Secondary Mission)) and welcome back for your such a long ban with your stupidity @minimi

you have a brain or dog shit in your head @minimiSu-24 / 34 are not fighter bomber. They are attack planes like F-105, F-111, F-117.

Fighter bomber/strike/attack/CAS (close air support jet) have same meaning (alternate word) for same thing @minimi

if these are/were attack jet then why you put Su-35 in that category, and first you post F-117 in fighter bomber category in your above post then suddenly you put F-117 into Attack category, @minimiAttack jet is like Su-22, Su-25, A-10, Su-24, Su-34, F-117.

let me correct you A-10/Su-25 is in the CAS (close air support) category and rest (Su-22/S24/Su-34/F-117) are/were in the Strike, Fighter bomber, Attack categories @minimi![]()
oh my god what a brain you have Su-35 didn't replace any strike/Atack/CAS jets, Su-22 replce by Su-24 then Su-34 is intended to replace Su-24, do you know what is the retirement year of Su-22 in Soviet/Russian air force @minimiA means attack. Su-35 basically replaces Su-22 in the single seat ground attack role.

Another golden stupidity by you Su-22 was Strike jet with a limited self defense capability, whereas Su-35 can defense itself by various short range and beyond visual air to air missiles, you creating your own stupid terms on seating arrangements which count nothing/ didn't matter much @minimiSu-22 and Su-24 are not the same class. Su-22 and Su-35 are single seat. F-111 and Su-24 and Su-30 and JH-7 are twin seat. Su-35 is like F-105 and Su-22 single seat.
