su-35 made to counter f35 or f22???
According to many it has good chance against F-35 but F-22 has upper-hand. Russians say they have incorporated many new technologies in Su-35, may be stealth. Its a 4.5 generations fighter.

su-35 made to counter f35 or f22???
I do not think the SU-35 has a chance against a head-on encounter with the F-35 because by the advertiser's statement, the IRBIS-E can only detect target of RCS 0.01 m2 at 90 km. With that detection range, Su-35 will detect F-35 (RCS of about 0.001 m2) at around 50-60 km which is too late already.According to many it has good chance against F-35 but F-22 has upper-hand. Still mad over the S-300 deal, don't answer I have read enough of your post to know the answer.
The clarify things, we can order many T-50's, approximately 250 of them which is 'many'. Moreover, the SU-35 is not cheap and it meant to be an upgrade/replacement until the pak-fa is introduced, and even when the pak-fa comes into service the SU-35 as well as other legacy fighters will still make up a large bulk of the air force, similar with how US legacy fighters will make up a large portion of the US air force.
Please continue with your Russia sucks mentality, it's quite amuzing![]()
i am mad? i never cared about that s-300 deal because its not making any difference..
and ohh right so i am ONLY sayin usa is more advanced than russia because i am MAD at russia?
what will u do if someone back stabbed you like Russia did to Iran?

I believe the detection range of the IRBIS-E will make it on par or even better with the rest of the Europe & U.S 4th generation fighters but not good enough for F-35, F-22; hence a development of PAK-FA is necesarily.

48 are ordered.A NICE AIRCRAFT INDEED. HOW MANY OF THESE RUSSIA IS GOING TO INDUCT?
USSR/Russia has produced aerodynamically equivalent or superior aircraft for decades, IMO, when compared to U.S. variants. A properly flown MiG-21 can defeat the F-4 in Vietnam days. The only gap in this process is the MiG-23/27, both of which have aerodynamic problems.
The MiG-29 and Su-27 (and future fighters; again from an aerodynamic standpoint) are outstanding.
Where the U.S. led are radar, sensors, and importantly, something people don't consider often, flight controls and overall human factors. The USSR generally had the pilot directly actuate flight controls. The US, starting with the F-86, applied a layer of advanced mechanical stick force sensors, and later computers that generally made handling better. In other words, applying equivalent technology to the MiG-29 would make it a much better jet. The U.S. led in human interface as well, especially the advent of HOTAS (Hands on stick and throttle) in the 1970's. HOTAS (and overall human interface) was HUGE in making the F-15 and later a success.

So I take it that Su-35 will come out superior against silent eagle, if it is competitive against F-35?
