I'd like to challenge any of the posters here with a US location flag but a foreign country flag if they fear the US police.

No, US policemen are generally nice and more equipped compared to other countries. I think no fear is needed about them rather you would have the feeling of safety.

That's not so bad. It simply means police has enough resources to respond to multiple crises at a short notice.

Having more police is not a problem; implementing their law genuinely is the main problem always.

And honestly, Istanbul being controlled on street levels is absolute rubbish. I have been there and it was an absolute delight (at least till last year, now don't know). It was safe to walk on the streets even at late night and we could see girls walking alone with no worry for life or anything else.

Technically, this is a wrong way to measure negativity.

It should be how over-armed a police is.

And looking at what happened in Ferguson in USA, we can safely say that USA is the most policed country (literally) around the world followed by, I don't know, maybe China or something.

Their two police forces are more armed than our army!!
