By changing the status (without a bilateral agreement) and breaking the shimla accord....I don't think India can be trusted ...ever!

Let's ignore the ultranationalists on either side and think of a lasting solution :

1. Declare the LoC between India and Pakistan as International Border.

2. Replace the Britain-derived political system that the two countries have, with an evolved one in which the people rule directly ( Direct Democracy Socialism ) and not some political parties ( neither single-party rule like China, nor two-party rule like USA nor multiparty rule like India and Pakistan ). This will ensure that any separatist / rebel tendency in India ( say Kashmiri, Naxal and Naga ) and Pakistan ( say Baloch ) can feel satisfied that their country now has a political system which will really work for their benefit, and thus their separatist movement can now be shut down.

3. Open the India-Pakistan International Border for trade, tourism and other forms of people-to-people contact.

Now tell me if you have any objections to the above.

There has recently been some confusion about Russia's stance on article 370. Well, here, the Russian ambassador clearly says at 0.37 that Article 370 is an internal matter of India.

Also note how he mentions Shimla, which shows Russia does not consider Article 370 withdrawal to be a violation of Shimla.

@vostok

In-fact you will have to hang with an olive branch to satisfy yourself but here we will consider what happening currently or recently. Instead of posting months old news to comfort bruised Indian Diplomatic Ego; listen to Russian FM as well. So spamming the section with month or so old news wouldn't change any fact. Would you like to listen to Russian FM? here is the link.....
