Russian ambassador, specially in India have a history making of Indian friendly announcement when confronted by Indian press. Doesn’t necessary mean Russian foreign policy is also the same.

US state dept and their ambassadors are very much in sync when it comes to making statements.

I wouldn’t take his statements serious but that Doesn’t mean Russian is Pakistan’s new BFF.

Vetoes are only for UNSC resolutions, which are discussed in formal meetings. Was their a formal meeting on Kashmir?

Russia has supported India on Kashmir in the UNSC three times now. Russia has been quite consistent on Kashmir.
