Well that’s not still great considering the counter offensive was a major failure and they lost a fair amount of the new equipment that was shipped to them.
They’re fast becoming a liability. Maybe old Zele should take a trip to see his Israeli hero’s, mind you they’re as bad if not than the Russians.

From a territorial perspective, it was a failure but that’s due to a significant amount of mistakes made from Ukrainian military planners.

But Ukraine inflicted ENORMOUS losses on the Russians this summer and gained some territory back.

So, they still have about 10-15000 with 1500 of annual production, i would say they are good, bigger problem is if they can train competent crews and field logistic in proper manner than this hardware loss.

I will say its actually a miracle that they have even been able to fight a world military power like Russia to a standstill. When the war started did you or anyone in this forum believe Ukraine could even last a few months against Russia? Lol i remember reading alot of comments on here about Russian fanboys about how Russia will wipe out Ukrainian military and government in a few weeks. I don't think anyone here gave them a single chance.
It seems we have forgotten that despite everything Russia was/is still regarded as the 2nd/3rd largest/powerful military power globally after the US depending on how we rate it. So don't you guys think you are underappreciating Ukraines effort to defend their country from an unprovoked invasion by a belligerent power? Some people are now even calling on Ukraine to outright defeat and kick out Russia as if Russia is a small power. Lol Do you guys believe that any country in the region could have fared better than Ukraine(i.e defeat) if they fought Russia closed to Russia's own border? Lol

No, the number of Russian tanks were counted again in October. It’s estimated they have another 3,500 good tanks left out of 5450 counted. At current loss rates, Russia has a couple more years before their armor situation turns critical.

Russia have achieved none of their strategic goals. They don’t even control all the Donbas, another strategic goal of which they have failed. The front line has been mostly static for the last year. 400K dead and wounded, over 13K equipment losses.

If you had told Ukraine this is what the state of the war would be back on invasion day, Ukraine would have taken that every time.

The Ukrainians haven’t achieved their territorial goals, that doesn’t mean Russia hasn’t been strategically defeated.

Ukraine hasn’t achieved 100% victory, but they have defeated all of Russias political and strategic goals and the Zelensky government still stands. That in itself is a huge victory for Ukraine and the US.
