WASHINGTON: The earliest ancestors of modern human may have originated in Asia and not Africa as widely believed , according to a new study based on fossil discovery in Myanmar.

Previous fossil finds have long suggested that Africa was the cradle for anthropoids , which include monkeys , apes and humans. Now, an international team in Myanmar has found the tooth of a pre-human ancestor which may prove that anthropoids originated in Asia.

The findings, published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, could shed light on a pivotal step in primate and human evolution, the researchers said.

there is not oppression on volga and siberian tatars today. yes, on certain caucusian regions like ingushetia,chechnya there is . yes there are spy cams because sunnis tend to give political sermons and this normally starts riots after friday prayers. Even in Oman ,spy cams in mosques is there.

All i am saying is that Russia is not some kind of pro - Muslim country as certain Pakis are claiming here. There will never be a Russia - Muslim nation alliance given the current geo political situations.

That happened other day in my city, people sitting down enjoying the weather come across a bunch of Muslims protesting Gaza (seriously, why protest about something in another country by marching, its not going to fucking achieve anything atall, if you want to help go there or donate food/clothes/medicine) and within a minute the group of mostly young Muslims starts to attack everyone, and then the police eventually. Typical Muslims, 90% are good, 10% are fucking evil and dont allow anyone in their own countries true freedom like they get over here.

Russia- wahabbi muslim alliance is impossible. Yes,Russian-shia alliance exists,but Russia won't align with nations like Saudi Arabia or Israel or pakistan. Might sell some weapons though.

Such an alliance is possible. Russia had previously good relationship with many Muslim countries - Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Algeria, Libya... Some Muslim countries are again looking for friendship with Russia.
