S-300 is still the Potent defense system out there against number of credible threats, I would personally love to see thes in Iranian Colours which will render Invader Air force IDAF useless, no wonder back in 08 there was a lot of noise regarding selling the system to Iranians and fast track of f-35

Russia is getting slapped around by the West as punishment for abandoning Iran and not selling them the S-300.

With how things are playing out, I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians also decided to help upgrade Iran's air force, which is in extreme disarray.

The Russians are seeing a new cold war start, so whether they're paranoid or not, they're starting to pick and choose allies to counter NATO's own actions in Europe and Asia.
