BD-Burma border is not exactly like the Kashmir front. So, BGB troops do not have to stand erect always with guns. Rohingya was/ is a different issue. Burmese troops would have killed all of them if BD had not taken them in.
There was a BD-Burma big border war in 2000. BGB had repulsed all the MM adventures trying to build spurs in the Naf Dariya. At this time Crown Prince Abdullah visited the front and told Burma that SA would be with Bangladesh fighting against it.
Burma lost quite a number of troops and withdrew. Our BA troops did not yet join the fighting when Burma requested for a truce. Please watch the video.
