You lot? I hate all 3 of them. Especially Haqqani and punjab hater Tarek Fateh. Now don't expose your self.

I have been an avid cyclist for over three years and on my cycle, have explored areas of Lahore I would have never seen otherwise.

In more than 3 years she only remembers only one incident of harassment / eve teasing? That is an exception, otherwise it proves that its possible for women to cycle in Pakistan's big cities, where traffic on roads is haphazard and overcrowded. Plus there are clubs, you can become a member, get a coach, participate in club events and national events through that club. Cynthia is a guest, most of her appearances are staged, you cannot compare yourself with her. Plus you can always go on cycling in groups that would take care of handful miscreants.

If you are interested and keen enough, the information is just few finger tip clicks away like this website

When did Dawn become so strange? I always thought they're critical of Pakistan's current state but more in a supportive way with good intentions.
I think market forces are causing this change. Increasingly online presence is more important then the hard print. Today Indian's with a population of nearly 1.4 billion have huge internet footprint. Think about 1.4 billion. That is more then all of Europe, Russia, USA, Japan, or the entire western world combined. There are nearly 25 Indians for a single Turk. I know they all don't have internet access but even if a fraction do they make huge impact on the English speaking sites as they all have English as second language.

So it is with Dawn. If you look at their comment section sometimes 70% are Indians. That must weigh in on the editor and the contributor. Pieces that are pleasing to Indians - for instance articles that claim Pakistan is going to become a Chinese colony or a article that alludes to some disagreement between Chinese Pakistan will remain on the 'most popular' list for weeks.

In fact if you wrote a article that suggested partition was a mistake and had it published by Dawn I can guarantee you it would remain 'most read' for weaks. Indian internet presence on English speaking sites is so pervasive that you can even detect is using 'double phased' radar. If a piece is particularly harsh on Pakistan and then makes India look good you can bet it is a Indian even if the name is western sounding.

But still I hope the new government chastens the media and the good news is the process has began. All the traitors in the media are being played this song as they lose their jobs one by one ..
