‘Reunited’ Hachiko statue unveiled at Todai

Ahh, that's very touching to reunite Hachiko & his owner not in flesh, but at least in spirit. This kind of story bring people back to the basic that to be loved, is truely a blessing.

I have visited the Hachico statue at the Shibuya station @Nihonjin1051 .. It's great to see they are united finally.. A dogs love for it's human is unconditional, You can never expect that kind of a quality from a human

If you guys want to watch another tear jerker, on the same lines of Hachico.. Watch Maley and me.. Though i blame all the onions i cut that day for the tears..

Japan idea of loyalty is from China. The China warring states period has many loyal people.

Basically why Japan and China are so "loyal" to their lord. I hypothesize that it is because Japan and China has no strong God in tradition, such as the like of Jesus, Jehoweh or Allah.

Human need someone to be loyal to and the best target is emperor or shogun.

But loyal to human has a very big negative impact.

The western idea of loyalty to God is a far better idea. Every human are scumm and even the sovereign is account to God. So there were far far fewer tyrant in white man land against the people compared to east asia.
