Retired Army Officer Thrashed to Death in Amethi

A 64-year-old retired Army captain was beaten to death by unidentified assailants in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi district, police said.

The incident occurred on Saturday night in Godiyan ka Purva village under Kamrauli Police Station limits, they said.

As upsetting as this may sound, India has become a fascist state. No one can call it democratic anymore. The soldier, regardless of his faith, is one gives the sacrifice of his time, energy and life to defend his country. That should be respected and honored by it's country's citizen. Not beaten to death like this news article states.

Considering the man was a retired MUSLIM Army Captain there is a 90% probability that the attack on him was by fellow Muslims.

The handful of Muslims in the Army are glorified & made poster boys of 'Indian secularism' but nobody will talk about this one. Even after passing the ultimate patriotism test of joining the Army, a Muslim can be lynched by a mob.
