Last August, 1,149 Uygur families were relocated to the new village in Kashgar Prefecture, which is 94 kilometers from their hometown in Kizilsu Kirgiz Prefecture, Xinjiang Province. A family of five people was among them.

The new house of Renaguli’s family has utilities such as natural gas, tap water, network, a cable television, a bathroom, and a refrigerator. “Now, we don’t have to go to pit toilets and fetch water from the river,” said Renaguli, who runs a grocery. Becoming better-off, the family asked to be removed from the list of impoverished households in early February.

A total of 537,000 people in poverty-stricken areas in Xinjiang were lifted out of poverty last year. Three counties and 513 villages were raised out of poverty. Thereby, poverty incidence in the region was reduced to 6.51 percent.

Socialism promotes the culture and language of nationalities. They are already well integrated in China for thousands of years.

But the real question is: Is the PRC willing to let them integrate and treat them as equal citizens?
Its already happen. They even has more rights and privilege than Chinese Hans.

Socialism promotes the culture and language of nationalities. They are already well integrated in China for thousands of years.
Xinjiang used to be a real autonomous region. CPC let them rules themselves. In fact, they preserve their culture and identity so well that they do not integrate when with rest of China and lack very behind in standard of living. Unfortunately, foreign influence and plot invaded a certain portion of them and poison their mind. Some start to rebel with extremism like mass murder.

One of Uyghur massive complain during the early 2000 was they feel left behind in China modernization and difficult to find jobs.

Now measures are implement to integrate back to whole system of China including standardize official language and education system plus governing to improve their standard of living as they will be offered more job and work opportunities since they can easily integrate into any parts of China with ease. Massive infrastructure projects to improve that area.

Now many uyghur are doing very well after being intergrate into China main core system like famous host Nëghmet Raxman and famous actress Dilraba Dilmurat. They are both pure uyghur who can speak perfect uyghur and Mandarin and are very successful and well received in China. No sight of biased or ill feeling towards them just becos they are uyghur. You can google and find many of their info. They both have interviews in Uyghur or mandarin available.
