Pakistan Army has decided in principle to relocate the Armoured Corps Centre and school from Nowshera to Bahawalpur.
Heard this on Dawn News. There is no official version on this as of now. But i personally think it is a good move.
lots of training grounds - hard and sandy landscape - existing training area is just south of multan.
" Military now out of any future controversy on this."
The word you used, future, is very significant as it has many meanings. Nonetheless, the controversial past is missing in your post...
As far as my info. is the Services Corp. School is also being relocated very soon.
I am not sure about the Arty. School -- if it is still there.
You guys are senior to me and have contact in the Army, then can you please explain why PA only has one Corp in Balochistan close to the Afghan border' i.e. Quetta?
Why does the PA not have Corps at Gwadar or Pasni, as these are also places of strategics importance?
It seems that the Pakistan Army or the high command is not recognising the strategic shifts taking place in the region. You know, the whole of Gilgit-Baltistan is covered by Peshawar Corp, and Azad Kashmir by the Mangla Corp, the operational area is just too massive especially in the case of Balochistan, which is the biggest province in relation to land mass. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong in any thing?

wtf?..............most of armed forces use to live in punjab so sad
