If Tibet was independent, it could have been very wealthy just from tourism and selling hydroelectric electricity.

As rich as Nepal ?

How rich Tibet can be with a couple of million monks and serfs?

Do you have any faintest idea of how much money China puts in building up Tibet? Hundreds of billons of dollars, with world first class highways, railways, airports, power plants... tell me how can Tibet get this much money by itself and how can they finish those the world most challenging engineering miracles one after another?

Want to give Tibetans(not Han Chinese settlers) a free and fair referendum on whether they want to be independent?

:D

How many countries give referendums to the people of every province? That's a lot of work, does your country or US did?

UK gave referendum to Scotland. Scotland voted to stay in.

BD does not give referendums as it is a unitary state with 99% ethnic Bengalis. Ethnic Bengalis would not be interested in splitting for obvious reasons.

When will China give Tibetans referendum on independence then?

If you can convicne over 200 countries all have a referendum in their each province, China may consider, that's a lot of work you have to do... convincing 200 governments..

lol. You asked and I told you that UK gives referendums.

Now, just admit that China is holding Tibetans hostage against their will.
UK is not the world, I understand as your former colonial master it has a special place in your heart, but they are nothing to us, just a country like all the other countries.

Do Tibetans want to stay with China or become independent?

No one knows, like no government knows what's really in each individual person's mind. But Dalai Lama says Tibet wants to be with China, but of course, that's his personal opinion only.

Tibet wants to stay with China, says Dalai Lama

KOLKATA: Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama said on Thursday that Tibet did not seek independence from China but greater development.
Speaking at an interactive session hosted by the Indian Chamber of Commerce here, he said, “We are not seeking independence... We want to stay with China. We want more development.”

Doubtful and you hardly sound like someone who could even tell just parotting old cheap propaganda like a tool.

It would more likely be even poorer than when it was liberated (minus the benefits of general technological progress maybe), just from endless foreign meddling to turn it into another dependent "independent" pawn against China or even completely run into the gutter in case they manage to become really "independent" and the lure of joining back booming China could not be surpressed and there would certainly be terrorist activies funded all over the place due to its geographic position it wouldnt be able to tackle due poor infrastructure and hindsight of bribed and threatened powerless politicians. Even the U.S. only needs and can afford to favour and prop up as many puppets, proxies, controlled and uncontrolled terrorists and meatbags in its clout and even if it picked up Tibet as one of its new favourites another country or two might turn strategically useless and lose these "favours" of a slave and fall into poverty instead.

But we all know thats just selfserving hypothetical talk you dont believe anyways and just drop as an excuse to push forward with your seperatism agenda pretentiously speaking on behalf of Tibetians who never asked or picked you out to speak for them if its not just part of your script. Its as meaningless as mentioning the "possibility" of Bangaldesh becoming rich if they just throw all people posting dumb and unconstructive stuff like you on the internet into jail just from improved productiveness.
