Really impressed with what Bahrai Town have done with Danzoo Zoo , designed with so much consideration for animals

Every time I see something from Bahria Town Owner I am always positively impressed by thsi man his Property, Architecture and benefit to society

New Better Humane Zoo
Really love the big space provided to Animals , the Big cats , who also share the enclosure with many other cats so they have a social collective Lot of room to walk around

OLD Zoo in middle of the city
This old zoo has not changed much for last 70 years
Old Zoo still active but very outdated not ideal for animals
Especially the Big Cats, Big Elephants look very distressed
Very Loud zoo with noises

The Zoo that Bahraia Town owner made is million times better then Karachi local zoo and it is first to step towards may be a natural wildlife reserve in Pakistan spanning 30-40km zone

What is humane about a locked animal whether in a small cage or a bigger cage?

Until the Chinese stop messing about with wild animals, be it in the name of "delicacy", "virility" or "traditional medicine" it will remain the epicenter of epidemics / pandemics.

High time they actually gave this some thought and put a TOTAL ban on it, and joined the rest of the humans in the 21st century.

You've got to be super cruel and have a really messed up idea of animal welfare to think that zoo (or any zoo) is humane / impressive.

I am of the opinion that Bahria town in itself is a zoo which keeps human which keeps animals in a zoo within a zoo.

I have seen an Elephant, in Marghazar Islamabad, the most oppressed kind of elephant on the face of earth. This animal is always on drugs, and it is so mistreated, that he is given continously antibiotics, as his rusty chains always make him ill. Govt of Thailand tried to adopt that poor animal, and surprisingly MQM and a local Pakistani organisation played a major role in arranging things, but then came some patriots and label both of them as traitors.

And here stands that poor elephant. I pray for him daily, that may he dies soon. May be that way his hardships will end.

There have been so many campaigns and even cases in the IHC but somehow the entire management --- and ENTIRE GOVT --- is so greedy and caught up with other things that the poor elephant is still stuck there. I can't even look at him or his pictures anymore. I just pray --- both for the elephant and that God gives me the courage to one day become a vigilante who can teach these leeches in our system a lesson.

That zoo is not humane at all, there was no consideration given for the animals. Those enclosures are puny and absolutely horrendous. There are petting zoos with better enclosures out there. Looks more like a small private animal farm. What are you talking about, my friend?
