Raytheon in talks with Indian government over NATGRID -Defence related

good lord - throw anything and hopes it sticks eh? you are being absurdly conspiratorial plain and simple. And CISMO was an upfront clause not a covert find by the Indians--- CISMO is signed by all NATO partners and many Non NATO buyers too- It's an option needed if you are using US based comm's ( their seceret sauce) makes no sense to give that example.

GoI also believes in conspiracy theories may be thats why they did not sign CISMOA and kicked US companies out of MRCA though IAF chief said that US aircrafts had best systems. CISMOA is beyond so called security of communication. According to US CISMOA will allow coordination with friendly countries were each other can communicate and seek help securely on the battlefield thats very common. But conspiracy theorists in GoI did not buy it so much they took the aircraft without the systems they requested for! IAF did it for the first time!

you are hell bent on pushing this meme because you dug yourself so deep that your ego is now leading the way. I'm done w/ ya on this , since logic has walked out of the room!

Now running away with personal attacks is a very common example set up by many in this forum and you are just an addition to that.

They spy story and CISMOA thing gone over head thats why running away?

fact that india govt is speaking with them is proof positive of my line of thought. Jai hind!

We have seen such talks many times and at the end its 0 (zero).

Raytheon bags $23 million deal to modernise Indian Air Force

US defence major Raytheon today bagged a $23 million contract to modernise India's military air traffic management systems which will make IAF air bases capable of handling all types of modern transport and combat jets round-the-clock.

The contract has been awarded to Raytheon by Tata Power Strategic Electronic Systems to provide automated air traffic management systems to the Indian Air Force.

The Tata Power Strategic Electronic Systems is the main contractor of the project. The contract is part of the IAF's Modernisation of Airfield Infrastructure (MAFI) project.

MAFI is being undertaken to make all IAF air bases capable of handling all types of modern transport and fighter aircraft at all times.

Raytheon officials said under the first phase of the programme, 30 airbases across the country will be upgraded to make them capable of handling all types of modern transport and combat jets at all times.

Raytheon Network Centric Systems (NCS) will supply a variant of its globally deployed AutoTrac family of air traffic management systems under the project to make the air traffic systems of of the best in the world, Raytheon officials said.

"Raytheon's AutoTrac system will provide the IAF a modern automated systems backbone that will allow for easy and rapid incorporation of new tools and functionality as they become available," said Andy Zogg, vice-president, Raytheon NCS Command and Control Systems.Raytheon bags $23 million deal to modernise Indian Air Force - India - DNA
