They're not fascists but the NDA/BJP/"single party" rule is probably here to stay for a couple decades. You have it all wrong, the Gandhis didn't delay anything, they had the country for 50+ years and did not do too good a job, the awam/janta then voted them out in a democratic process. We're not a fickle awam either, yeah, this vessel has now listed to the other side for a good while.. gai bhains paani meinRahul must be totally clueless, leaving your country with single party fascist rule for many years to come. Maybe this is how Hindustan was always meant to be. The Gandhis just delayed this inevitable realisation of brahministan.
And as for cheering, there are plenty of better things to cheer over like IN ships on fire in port on the same day a deployment to the Gulf is announced.
Beware - spontaneously combusting IN ships and oil tankers don't get along very well...

It is almost like kind of like Premier Xi's "ascension", "president for life!" as POTUS 45 calls it. Only that we the people of India have gone that way democratically.
Just my thoughts as a guy who lives here, could turn out to be wrong but probably not.
Barring some unforseeable 'game changing' event, the BJP only gets stronger from here on, deal with it, or, prepare to deal with it.
I support them now, but pretty sure that if I want to vote them out the next time because reasons, it wont work.
You guys really need to chill out about Modi, relax. He's really not that bad, not fascist or anti muslim either, and he's right about Pakistan and that you keep sending suicidal jihadis here to try and bleed us from a "thousand cuts".. but the Kashmir debate will not go anywhere so let us not get into that one..
