A sessions court in Quetta on Saturday ordered the release on bail of six activists of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM), DawnNewsTV reported.

Police had arrested the activists from outside the Quetta Press Club on January 31 during a protest demonstration against a bombing in Loralaiwhich claimed the lives of nine people.

Police officers had resorted to the use of tear gas to disperse the activists.

The held workers were later identified as Najeebullah, Muhammad Suleman, Saleh Muhammad, Mehboob Shah, Zainullah and Naik Muhammad. They had been sent to Quetta's district jail after their arrest by police.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Najeebullah Khan accepted the bail application of the PTM activists and ordered their release against a surety of Rs0.1 million each.

PTM is a rights-based alliance that, besides calling for the de-mining of the former tribal areas and greater freedom of movement in the latter, has insisted on an end to the practices of extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances and unlawful detentions, and for their practitioners to be held to account within a truth and reconciliation framework.

In another incident earlier this week, rights activist Gulalai Ismail — along with several workers of the PTM — was arrested for holding a protest demonstration outside the National Press Club in Islamabad to protest the death of PTM leader Arman Loni.

Ismail was initially shifted to the G-9 Women's Police Station when she was arrested on Tuesday. On Wednesday she was taken to Adiala jail. Later that evening, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat told Dawn that Ismail has been released.

Wtf?

PTM. is already a monster... They are just waiting for right time to pick up the gun...

On other note.... Shouting slogans against law enforcement just after your own fathers tried a failed suicide attack.... This shud not be tolerated .. This is treason agaimst stae and shud be dealt as such

Start throwing them in jails on non bailable charges and make sure case drags on for 10 plus years

Nip the evil in the budd... Kill them before they become an issue

Peace has been given. More than enough time here

Anyone challenging the writ of the state should be locked in jails like TLP, it wont be long before PTM resorts to violence like MQM and TLP who started off as peacefully then turned into monsters.
Its swat all over again, is the army thinking of killing off some more soilders in operation? This is ridiculous

No no, let them take a few cities over again.

Thats a golden thought.... Dont kill the snake.... Starve it

They need to tighten peripherals...

Confiscate money freeze accounts... Make life impossible
BTW I'd recommend watching that interview Joe Rogan did with that one lawyer who shed light on importance of money in the legal system in the USA in specific and the world in general. Money makes a huge difference. Follow the money trail and all characters will reveal who they are and what they are up to.

BTW I'm nota fan of Joe Rogan. I just that that one interview was informative.
