Pakistan meets most of the requirements an entrepreneur would have if they would want to invest overseas. Its growing industries and exports attract foreign investors who know they can produce goods they’ll have no issues to sell. And signs show that Pakistan’s economy will register further growth in the future. If in the past investors had second thoughts because of security concerns, nowadays there are insignificant security problems that don’t affect businesses. Import and export are crucial for the state’s economy, Pakistan being famous worldwide for the high-quality products it exports.

Pakistan is rich in numerous natural resources and it has multilateral and bilateral trade arguments with countries worldwide. The following list shows the products that make it unique worldwide, let’s explore it.

Rice
People consume rice all over the world, but the plant grows only in a restricted area. Pakistan is one of the lucky countries where rice grows healthy and strong, and it produces more than it needs for local supplies. Therefore, Pakistan exports rice to countries like Jordan, Thailand, Kenya, UAE, and Oman. Pakistan is famous worldwide for the high-quality basmati rice it harvests. Chefs consider it the best basmati rice and use it in top restaurants around the globe.

In 2019, Pakistan exported over 2.5 million metric tons of rice, its value exceeding $1.22 billion. The high amount of rice the country managed to sell overseas shows they managed to improve their trade agreements with international partners, and this can only benefit the national economy. And they don’t want to stop here, they are working hard to find new ways to improve export and to sell more rice internationally.

Mangoes
Most of the people don’t know that there are hundreds of types of mangoes. Most of them have the misconception all the mangoes are the same. Pakistan alone has over 100 types of mangoes, some of the most famous being Desi, Almas, Neelum, Anwar, Ratool, and Fajri. This sweet fruit is the second largest fruit crop and the second major exported fruit in Pakistan. Germany, China, Japan, The Middle East and Iran are only some of the countries that import mangoes from Pakistan.

Mangoes export has a huge impact on the national economy, the country being the 5th largest mango supplier worldwide.

Kinnow
In 2019, Pakistan delivered 370,000 metric tons of Kinnow worldwide. People appreciate Pakistani fruits because they are healthy, juicy and lack chemicals. Canada, Russia, Indonesia, Iran, and the UAE are only some of the places that source their Kinnow from Pakistan.

This year the country registered the highest export volume of the fruit, and it brought to the national economy more than $220 million.

Cotton
Cotton is one of the main contributors to the national economy because the country exports raw cotton, spun cotton and cotton fibre. Alongside the variations of cotton it sells internationally, it also exports products made from this fabric like towels, bedwear, cotton cloths, knitwear, and cotton yarn. Netherlands, Australia, Brazil, Canada and France source their cotton products from Pakistan because they consider them high-quality ones.

Surgical instruments
Pakistan is specialised in producing reliable surgical instruments. Over 3500 companies make medical equipment for export. 150,000 employees work hard to manufacture only high-quality surgical instruments because doctors worldwide need the best tools to perform surgeries with 100% precision.

Last year they sold surgical instruments that worth $222 million. Doctors from the UK, USA, Russia, Australia and Germany purchase their surgical instrument from Pakistan.

Leather products
Leather goods are people’s favourite items because they are qualitative and durable. Pakistan is one of the top providers of leather products being specialised in daily wear products like pants, jackets, bags and shoes. During the first months of the current year, it exported $480 million worth of goods in countries like Brazil, Australia, Netherlands, and Spain.

Furniture
Pakistan is well-known around the globe for the high-quality furniture it manufactures. From the USA to Central Europe, people prefer Pakistani furniture items because they are durable and classic. Annually, Pakistan sells around $12 million worth of furniture items.

Footballs
FIFA is one of the events that sources its footballs from Pakistan because they are reliable and players find comfortable using them on the field. For the FIFA event held in Russia, Pakistan produced a top-quality football called Telstar. For the Brazil FIFA cup, they produced the Brazuca football. From 1990 to 2010 they manufactured stitched footballs for all the world cups.

Pakistan manufactured and sold over 37 million footballs worldwide.

Chemicals
During the last 6 months, the chemical industry of Pakistan registered a 10% growth. Because the country encourages foreign investors, the chemical industry experienced growths because new activities and commercial operations aroused.

Chemistry is an interesting subject especially for young Pakistani, who want to improve their country’s economy and are aware sciences and technology can play a fundamental role in boosting their lifestyle. Foreign investors find the growing chemical industry from Pakistan the perfect opportunity to expand their ventures. Because young Pakistani commit to learning chemistry both at school and at home they can count on an educated workforce on site.

At present Pakistan sells internationally over 28 organic compounds including rare-earth metals, radioactive elements and inorganic chemicals.

Seafood
Pakistan exports fresh seafood to all continents. Numerous countries have access to seafood resources, but only a few of them are specialised in exporting fresh high-quality products. Pakistan is one of the worldwide suppliers of prawns and shrimps, and in 2017 and 2018, it exported $260 million worth of fish and related products. China and European countries are the main clients Pakistan has for seafood products.

Bottom line: The financial development of Pakistan heavily relies on agriculture which has over 40% of labour. The Food and Agriculture Organisation stated that Pakistan is the 5th largest milk producer worldwide. Its location is one of the factors that facilitate its position as an international supplier because it shares land borders with economic leaders like China.

for last 50 year, our quality product export line has not changed, if it did then most probably some products were removed from the quality export list.

I don't think we need to open a new thread on this topic for at least next 20 years, we all have memorized this product line.
