Yes, all exports are duty free and tax exempted. Firms only pay income tax on their export income.
While there is no tax on remittances sent by overseas Pakistan through banking channel. Previously, there was 0.3% tax for return filers and 0.6% tax for non-return filers on withdrawl of money more than Rs.50,000 but in reforms package 2019, governemnt has exempted accounts receiving foreign remittances and maintained in Pak rupee from any kind of tax.
What if we make firms exempted from income tax too. Any individual or firms should be exempted from income tax wouldnt that will encourage more business to become exporter and bring $ in the country?
