Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamat-e-Islami (JI) entered in an alliance to contest Local Bodies (LB) elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,a private news channel reported.

In a meeting, held at Speaker House in Peshawar, both the parties decided to nominate the candidates with mutual agreement.

Both the coalition partners in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government also consented to hold LB elections in last week of May this year.

They are losing support every passing day I saw dozens of their ex supporters even this site, leaving a party ratio is higher in PTI, coz of foolishness of IK. PTI is nothing but a good looking JI. I admire still some ptians doesn't like to be equalize with JI like @Jazboot and few others. Aur Jin se koi baat nahi banti wo MQM ki aad mein munh kala karte hain. Generations of Karachi always Thank to MQM that they finish JI from Karachi and they bond only in KPK where they met their soul mate i.e PTI.

Natural partners should always come together in a democracy so that their votes do not get divided. Now that like minded parties have formed this coalition, it will be relatively easier for them to fight ideologically opposite parties like ANP and MQM.

PPP/PMLN?ANP/JuIF has sported each other in lamost all election in KPK. PTI need alliance to fight them. JI is i guess only major party left I have my reservation on JI as well @Jazzbot
