Who cares what Islam says as long as MONEY WORSHIPING (Dowry) is culturally understood, it's all good and halal now.

Dowry is culturally understood. It is in one way or another present in all cultures of Pakistan.

Most 'honor' killings in Pakistan are motivated by culture. Marrying outside the caste or tribe.

I dont understand a woman pays 50,000 while a man pays 30,000....where is the woman going to get the money if the man is the sole provider of the house....people here are to immature to understand that women who are subject to domestic violence are told (Even by their own parents) you have to take it because "ghar ayesay he banta hai".

Domestic violence is gender-neutral phenomenon. Women can be arrogant and abusive just like men - they are hardly damsels in distress.

Laws should not give benefit of doubt to one gender at the cost of other.

Then why is there a disparity....why should a woman pay 50,000 vs 30,000 for a man, when she is the "fairer" sex. What you are asserting is that most women falsely accuse men of domestic violence and there are very few cases of women being subjected to domestic violence. This has an unintended consequence (this is appalling and not true in the absence of any statistical data (which you may find in US/UK/etc, I had given you a cultural reference which is a common theme across the Subcontinent and countries such as Afghanistan/Middle East. Now you are going to have more abusive relationship with no recourse. This is reflected in the cases of acid victims. Why would a woman do such a thing? and do you think that even if the woman has been proven to be a false accuser, the husband will take her back and everything will be hunky dory. This is overly in favour of men.
