iran has downed stealth drones of u.s in past so few f35s may be downed by them using airdefences, iran should strike the bases and aircraft carriers within their range from which these jets fly in retaliation of attack

Bunch of toddlers have gathered in this thread it seems. Iran has not feared US when it is already fielding 100's of F-22s etc, but now I am sure Iran is shivering over some 50 F-35.

Being a 3D artist I can definitely say that this image is fake and is created in a 3D modeling software (like Blender). The facts can be true but this image is not.

More proof to justify my point:
-> In the entire picture there are 30+ planes but there are only 3 types of models and the same exact models are placed in random positions. (CHECK THE WING LIGHTS AS AN EXAMPLE).

-> The road texture is what you can buy online on any 3d modeling website very easily and at cheap rates. The texture of road especially of a runway is not that smooth (Shiny).

-> The hut on the left side is clearly digitally created. (I CAN'T MAKE YOU ALL UNDERSTAND BUT TRUST ME IT IS DIGITALLY CREATED).

-> In the background there are mountains that have high level of detailing (most probably some stock image is used as a background plate).

Images attached can allow you the examine the difference between the plane in the image you added and the image I added that is of a 3D model (On TurboSquid).

these jets have failed to bring favorable results in afghanistan with no proper air defenses so it is highly doubtful that these will guarantee u.s success against iran

Sir, nothing is going to happen. Iran will just increase its proxy war around the US bases in Iraq, Yemen, Syria and Levant..
Iran can't afford a war at this moment, and even US can't afford another war in this region.. It was a calculated risk taken by the US establishment.
Then why bother? Yes, soleimani had cult celebrity status, but in the medium-long term, assassinating him will achieve nothing for America. Iranian ideologies will harden and their resolve will sharpen. In fact, just knocking out soleimani and sitting back down will unite Iranians against the west, setting back any hopes of an uprising in Tehran. It will also force Iran to quicken their aim of a nuclear bomb and threaten Israel more.

I cannot see the logic in just eliminating one guy - others will quickly fill his shoes in functionality terms (the cult status is irreplaceable but that's just p.r.).

I'm convinced that this is merely the first step. USA wants a war and it wants something concrete out of this.

Even with proxy war, any action against US assets nearby, Trump will come with love.....He is under sever pressure of impeachment....this will turn out to an opportunity for him. Iran should understand ....

Lmao and Iran thinks they have any chance if even half of those F-35s would attack it
Air power alone can't win wars. If it could, the Saudis would have won in Yemen by now, and Israel would have won in lebanon in 2006.

Due to Iran's mountainous geography, it is extremely difficult to wage war against it in any meaningful manner. The US could launch an air campaign, but it would mean little in the long run.
