True, Why didn't NDTV group try to go International ?
India needs their own CNN, BBC
If FOX NEWS, RT, CCTV or Al-Jazeera are broadcasting all over the world (with huge amount of bias ) then why not NDTV with very good credibility.

That is hardly a viable proposition for NDTV; it does not have those resources or does it have the intention to cover the world. BBC was an instrument of British Govt. at one time; so it acquired both the reach and the reputation, the reach because of Govt. funding and the reputation because of Editorial control that remained independent of Govt.

NDTV is a wealthy firm , as I know only GoI backing is needed for that.
But with the current government I fear they could back India TV like channels to malign us internationally
