Try to get to the US. It’s hard here, but the best country for an immigrant that is willing to work (6 days a week for a good number of years) and willing to learn (not just your craft but how to fit in, especially American English).

Even Canada isn’t worth it in my opinion. Canadians are getting poorer. GDP per capita in their richest provinces are equivalent to the GDP per capita in our poorest states.

Several times i have considered moving to USA. Norwegians are notoriously introverts and weather is bad.

But one thing that scares me from doing it is the crime. America simply is not a safe country. Many Norwegians who lived there and came back said the same. It wasnt safe for their children, compred to Norway.

House prices still high but slowly coming down hopefully not too much

Social housing available to anyone without a roof paid for by government .
