Isn't it strange that DNA seems superimposed on what geographical boundaries of modern nation states are.

As far as I know, any heritage results only show how much DNA you share with the current population in these areas.... So if few Punjabis migrated to Europe and Sri Lanka, and some of them also tested from the same organization, you being a Punjabi will get this result..
