Pakistan's strike which resulted in downing of two Indian A/C's, MiG 21 Bison (upgraded to 4th gen stds) and upgraded Su30 MKI by JF17 of PAF, in broad daylight has shocked many quarters. The myth of conventional superiority shattered. Myth of Chinese technology being inferior to Russian tech shattered. And cold start, and 2 front war all went down the drain faster than Abhi Nandan's (the best pilot India had) A/C plunged to the ground. India got exposed as a liar by the traditionally pro-India international media vis-a-vis Pakistan because the lies were so blatant. So outside the bounds of India, people realised the extent of mendacious propaganda Indian state is capable of doing but can't fool the world. India got bloody nose on every attempt at every front despite Pakistan showing unnecessary restraint.
Now the world see India & Pakistan differently. The perception have changed. Now even Modi and his AirChief admitted the air superiority of JF17 over its Su30's, MiG 21 Bison, Jaguars, MiG 29-upgraded, Mirage 2000 etc when they claimed Rafale would have altered the outcome.
So, the only one question comes to my mind: India what were you thinking?

Well, the world (read governments) was silent and shocked but the international media clearly exposed India's lies and common people came to know the truth. Even the pro-India capital were whispering to each other as they were over-awed and couldn't say anything against Pakistan...so their silence is in fact Pakistan's win.

Exactly! Did they believe their own hype? Did their own armed forces not give realistic advice to their government? Did they underestimate Pakistan's threats of retaliation?

OR did they know this will happen but also knew they could fool their public?

I feel that the bug of RSS has permeated all the cadres of Indian establishment i.e. military, politics, media, judiciary, bureaucracy, business and masses. So I don't think, any of them has the capability. BTW Rawat Bipin's silence is astounding.
