Poor conditions of Khunjerab Security Force near chinese border

Despite of limited resources and severe weather, the Jawans of Khunjerab Security Force are performing their duties almost 15000 feet above sea level, near the Sino-Pak border crossing.

KSF operates as a special unit under the Gilgit-Baltistan Police and serves in different parts of the Khunzhrav National Park.

KSF can be strengthened by allowing it the same facilities and resources as the High Altitude Police unit.

A tourist has recently shot this video and highlighted the issues and concerns.

This issue needs to be dealt with immediately winter is here and they have inadequate equipment to do the necessary tasks in winter if kartarpur corridor can be built in 10 months why cannot repairing off 2 buildings be done the government needs to take action as soon as possible this is unacceptable he is wearing what looks like a chinese made jacket which just explains the whole story and makes it even more worthy off concern

yaar, WTH ? these soldiers deserve proper gear and equipment , take some plots from DHA sell them and give these soldiers proper stuff .. We don't want to be like Indian Army now aren't we ?

yaar honestly i am surprised on this a bit , in June i went to Balakot all the way up to Chillas , Saw check posts , Standing soldiers , they were all well equipped . I think the commanding officer or whoever is incharge is doing some hera pheri there ..

Man I was watching a CCTV which is China national broadcaster did a short doc about the Khunjareb border and the functions wtf is wrong with our uniforms they look like something from the British era we need 21st century style border patrol uniforms with proper equipment as op above says we need to spend less plots and golf courses

@OsmanAli98 I was gonna say KSF are Muslims and don't need any other protection then Allah (swt). The Athiest Chinese though don't have such protection and they need all the thermal, hi-altitide alpine uniforms.
