Rabeeha Abdurehim, a gold medallist in postgraduate degree in mass communication at Pondicherry University, rejects the medal after she was allegedly denied entry at convocation till President Kovind left. She was allowed to participate in the ceremony only after President Ram Nath Kovind left the university after presenting gold medals and certificates to a few students. Rabeeha rejected her medal to register her protest against denying her permission to attend the convocation. Congress leader P Chidambaram too voiced opinion and tweeted, "Keeping out gold medalist Rabeeha Abdurehim from the Convocation of Pondicherry University was an outrageous assault on her rights."

Just imagine the agony Mr.President Ram Nath Kovind would have to go through if he saw a Muslim woman receive a gold medal in the ceremony. It was a wise move from the university management.
The Muslim woman is just overreacting and being hysterical. She has no place in a ceremony to celebrate her achievements in Fascist India specially when Mr. President is there to present the medals.
