Personally, I prefer combustibles due to their abundance, reliability, environmental safety, small space usage. Wind power and coal been used for thousands of years. Oil and gas and nuclear and solar are fairly new, only since the last hundred years.

The actual output of a solar farm is a small fraction of installed value. Solar panels cannot follow the path of the Sun across the sky like sunflowers do, so they only output about 10% of their installed value. Wind turbines upwind make wind weaker for wind turbines downwind, called diminishing marginal output due to law of conservation of energy. Wind farm only output about 10% of installed value.
