Personally, I think it is good for the people of Crimea which is majority ethnic Russian. The only reason it became part of Ukraine was because Khruschev being stupid taking it out of Russia and giving it to Ukraine as a gift in 1954. However, Putin underestimated western reaction and got sanctions.

personally it wasn't just force.... people in the eastern part of ukraine speaks russian and majority associates themselves as russian.... the referendum got them into russia... the world community is punishing these people basically.
i live in the eastern part however, my city is quite pro ukrainian, even though they speak russian
