Mate, I have grown up in the west. Having "choice" means same as having "choice" in covering your head in Islamic societies like Pakistan. In Pakistan there is no law or legal obligation to cover up but the social pressure to oblige is so strong that it makes mockery of the word "choice".

In reality peer pressure, sexualization by commercial media and entertainment means there is very little "informed choice". Girls give their bodies to look cool or stay popular in their socoal group. Furthmore I am not too sure that 12/13 year olds can make such a choice. Thus my use of "informed choice".

Thanks to the Shekel grubers and their media strings and the whole hippie shit of the 1960s caused this crap

it's non sense every body spew a number , without saying why by what study these numbers are being feed to people ?
right now many 21 even 25 years old girls and boy are just able to play with dolls also there are a lot 14-16 years old who can manage a family .

also another question is in what type of society the girl or boy live ?
what opportunity they have for their future ?

it's nonsense even absurd to try and standardize any aspect of human life and nature

But he did. He married a child named Aisha.

Yep the gullible ignorant like you believe that or are made to believe that ......... and you are not alone there are plenty. It takes a bit more courage to research and reach the truth. Please carry on.

Please tell me what is the differance between a 12 year old girl married and a 12 year old girl having rampant sex everywhere? The only diffeance is the former has one partner [if she has child they will know the dad], the latter dozens [if she has child there will be dozen suspects].
;

Are you basing this on Rotherham child sexual exploitation by British Pakistanis? Surely that's not a norm.

21 should be minimum age for marriage for both boys and girls.

The question here arises if the government can decide any age, be it minimum or maximum, and impose it on the populace. If the answer is in positive then the number is as irrelevant as the reasoning behind it.

The definition of marriage remains a hotly contested debate in every sphere of life. Some may choose to define culturally, religiously or even biological but if lawmaking is required then we need to look beyond tradition and decide on consensus.

Eastern societies are considered conservative in their definition of holy matrimony as a matter resolved while the West regularly reinvents its definition both culturally and religiously.

If there is a divide or a clash. It is the Eastern definitions v/s the Western interpretations.

The debate shall however go on as life goes on.

P:S: Hope you comeback stronger from your break.
