I've had my own bad experience with police officers.

If I, as a seemingly milquetoast law abiding South Asian medical student at the time had trouble with a police officer, I can't even imagine what others have to deal with.

It ultimately comes down to a he said she said type scenario.

Most of the time the cop gets the benefit of the doubt.

My point is its more than just some bad apples in the ranks of the police.

back to the topic: In USA there are laws for all of us to be followed. A 12 year old (or anyone for that matter) who disobeys a directive from a cop is likely to be in trouble. Cops who violate the law get in trouble sometimes. there is racism in police ranks. Cops are part and parcel of American society.

at the end of the day it boils down to this: Are you willing to trust your family with cops ? Most of us are willing to (that includes a majority of African Americans). I left my four year old with a police officer for 15 minutes as I went to get gasoline for a car out of gas. My four year old was cool with the police officer

A Florida jury found a fired police officer guilty of manslaughter and attempted murder in the October 2015 shooting death of Corey Jones, a 31-year-old stranded motorist.

It is the first time in 30 years that an officer in Florida has been convicted of an on-duty shooting.

Nouman Raja, 41, faces life in prison.

The former Palm Beach Gardens police officer was fired shortly after the shooting.

Not to generalize, but I have witnessed myself, many Black people are way too aggressive for no reason and have a problem of following any commandment given to them by any authority, be it police, professor, on road, at work, in gym, anywhere. And like I said I have witness it myself.

Not saying every single one but I've seen many. Not exaggerating but the number I've personally came across, at least 50% fits what I said above. No offense to anyone.

That kid in the video..the school already had two previous incidents with him where the police were involved. He’s apparently a recurring troublemaker.

US has alot of heavy weaponry sold openly and most Black people have not figured out that the best way to defend themselves is having own defensive weapons

Often black folks are sent to long prison terms for owning small firearm
but big bad auto guns are sold openly to of course white people
