There is no use of ban on the license ,,, so they LEA are thinking that criminals are using license weapons, that's stupid infact this is protecting the criminals, citizens cannot defend themselves and are completely helpless. That is exactly what I am saying there is no point of signing these deals when Government is not even issuing licenses
Guess what Imran Khan said only the govt should have a monopoly over arms now you can twist it to your own likings but it signals a policy changeBan ain't happening "unfortunately" ... earlier Sarsilmaz (Turkey) pistols that are based on the renowned CZ platform and now Kalashnikov (Russia)![]()

Should have monopoly and present policy of no new licences should be expanded and previous licences should be cancelled only if your life is in danger you can be allowed to own arms and that too only non auto one,sGovernment should have monopoly, IK is right. However a large illegal firearms supply/market = government doesn't have control/monopoly.
In kpk it would be a heavily unpopular move the day he gets federal govt you will see change in his policy and move toward a nation wide restrictionand btw, IK didn't ban the licences in KPK. He's pro licenced ownership! Whilst Punjab and Federal stopped issuing new licences, KPK continued but brought reforms. <----- twist that to your liking!

Whats the advantage ,,, most of the illegal use of weapons is unlicensed ... License weapons are good as you can trace it to the ownerShould have monopoly and present policy of no new licences should be expanded and previous licences should be cancelled only if your life is in danger you can be allowed to own arms and that too only non auto one,s

@The Sandman @Zibago or anyone else is also NOT calling for a blanket ban. Everyone here agrees that the process MUST be made tough so that ONLY responsible and sensible civilians can get their hands onto these weapons. Both sides in this argument are essentially saying the same thing and yet they are being stubborn that it is them who are right. YOU BOTH ARE BAHI!! YOU ARE BOTH SAYING SAME THING. Not ever tom dick and harry should be able to carry a sider arm on the street. There should be strict check and evaluations. Once the set criteria is met, THEN the person who have met it should have no problem getting a weapon and carrying it (as per his license terms)@The Sandman @Zibago

This is really exciting news ... but AK-9 for civilians?
I am not for sudden ban but slow phasing out by making licence harder and harder to get to the level where getting Markhoor hunting licence becomes easier than gun licence@The Sandman @Zibago or anyone else is also NOT calling for a blanket ban.
