PM to represent Pakistan at UNGA session in New York in September

Prime Minister Imran Khan will represent Pakistan at the upcoming 74th session of United Nations General Assembly to be held in New York this September.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan mentioned it at a media briefing following the cabinet meeting in Islamabad.

She said Pakistan’s brief delegation will comprise the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister to avoid burden on national exchequer.

I dont think there is any need. Trump and US is moving towards elections, we should let the new government form before any meaningful engagement takes place with the US. Till that time we should strictly look after to resolve our issues specially economy to be in a better position to negotiate and change the direction of our relationship if any.
