Very correctly observed. Saudis already buy top-notch German/American/European weapons and that too like there is no tomorrow.

I don't think they are going to be able to accept any Asian country's conventional/non-strategic weapon as a potent platform until you also start a war economy like US to prove it "combat tested".

If Saudies had any sense they would buy these weapons just so to encourage a muslim country to have an industrial base to produce good weapons. At least Pakistan is on its way. Pakistan will get better and bring out more cutting technology in time. Weapons we sell to them would not come with strings and they could use them against any enemy but sadly I think that nothing will come from it because Saudi government has only one purpose and that is the survival of some ugly fat mothers from the al saud not so royal family.

Absolutely right but they have been acquiring weapons from Pakistan like Super Mashak and as I posted earlier, they held Al Khalid trials for almost 2 years. The point is they are not going to buy any overtly high-tech stuff from us like fighter jets but other arms are always a possibility, especially where we have been met with considerable successes.
