Very disappointed and angry that the press conference went into 'judicial commission' and siasat territory.
The stupid media should've refrained from asking those questions, and both NS and IK should've said they were not going to answer any questions on that topic.

Are you for real???? What do you mean by this?
Do note that APC was called in order to end political instability which has cost this country a lot as it is, including deterioration of security situation.
This was the need of the hour. Imran Khan understood why this APC was called and used this opportunity well. NS provided him with needed face-saving space.
You would be mad to think that our nation can act against TTP without everyone falling in line first.
Learn to appreciate wisdom when it is displayed.

I first thought that Nawaz Himself started political discussion at the APC...it should've been non political 100% but then i came to know that journalists asked a specific question to which Nawaz answered.
Also Saleem Safi asked silly political questions to IK which shouldn't have been asked in the first place.

Not coming to a political understanding would have been silly and unfortunate. Do read my post above. APC's being called was a political act first and foremost. There should not be any confusion in this. It was the right thing to do.

Appreciate wisdom when it is displayed? It seems you miss my point. I never said we cannot act without unity amongst everyone.
My point is when you've announced an APC in response to one of the worst atrocities this nation has ever witnessed, and you're fielding questions, don't allow them to go off-topic and focus on judicial commissions and what not.
The media were stupid in bringing up PTI-PML-N issues, but a response from both IK and NS should've been "those questions and answers are for another day, we have convened today to discuss what happened yesterday, and that's all we're interested in discussing"
Case closed, and the issue that is front and centre at the moment is underlined with such a response.
Maybe it's just me, but the last thing I wanted to hear were the words "dharna", "judicial commission" and "rigging" in a APC press conference discussing the slaughter of 132 children.

I understand what you mean.
But the APC was more about politics than about henious episode of terrorism. People had been wondering about dharna and judicial commission etc... because these issues need to be put to rest somehow and all politicians need to align themselves. No point in APC if these issues are not hurriedly addressed on the sidelines and resolved.
You or I might be put off by such thoughts, but this is practical reality borne out of necessity.
Lanat on both Nawaz and Imran. Nawaz for making Imran laugh and on Imran for laughing. This is a national tragedy and these assholes are making jokes and laughing.
