Great initiative by Prime Minister Imran Khan, any political instability in either Iran or Saudia is counterproductive to Pakistan and in general all Islamic world

• Saudia has 50-70 million people
• Iran also has a population of 90-120 million people

There are already close to 5 million Refugee in Syria so clearly the region can't take more crisis

Yeah and even "Moving" while kneading the dough is a personality defect if your M.law dont like you.
Its a subcontinental thing. See the Indo-Pak Traditional Kneading process in a big tray, mostly sitting down on the traditional low profiled Stool/bench. You have to move a lot in that.

Why is everyone on fire here if PMIK wants to mediate between Iran and KSA.
Why is everyone in favor of Invasion of Iran by KSA USA of heck even Aliens.
Leave aside your religious affiliations do you want another Afghanistan like Failed Semi Occupied State on your Western Border?. Do you know what Iran is Capable of before getting down? Can you people see even an Inch ahead of Shia/Sunni Sh**?
Have any of you noticed Irani Influence in Iraq, Syria and Yemen without even having a strong economy?
Before Total Pacification of Iran This whole region will be a fire ball. Syrian Will surely Fall, Iraq will see a Bloodbath between Shia Militias and Alqaeda/Sunni Groups, , Yemen War will be totally out of Control. KSA and Gulf Infrastructure will be Damaged beyond Measure, Oil prices will hit Sky high. Damascus to Tehran will be lit like hell.
And Folks here think Pakistan will remain safe and out of harm without taking a side or worse with taking a side.
We have enough of a single Afghanistan, We dont need Iran Iraq and Syria in the same league as well. No Thanks.
Peace Between KSA and Iran Should be our Number 1 Priority for our own internal Security and For the Region. No matter how little role we can play, we should keep trying.

Some people are just negative and haters... they will find fault in everything so ignore them. Both Iran and KSA know that war will destroy both and none can afford the war... neither Iran nor KSA and definitely it will affect the whole world especially the ME region including Pakistan. Now, the way forward is that both countries try to resolve their differences through dialogues. There has been so much tension between the two and nobody tried to negotiate and mediate between them. Now, PM IK has been requested & entrusted by both KSA, USA to try to facilitate dialogues between the parties. Iran has also welcomed it. Both countries will have to give up a few things to reach some understanding.

That's accurate scenario. Plus downing of the Arab economy will mean expulsion of millions of Pakistani labor from there.
It's an ABSOLUTE CATASTROPHE for the region and Pakistan will not be immune from that. Indians should be glad that there is Pakistan as buffer against the utterly failed Afghanistan and the stupid leaders of KSA and Iran. Pakistanis are not suicidal or myopic, for all Pakistan's faults.
