IK is a different man. He seems genuine and carries the confidence of Pakistan's military. So there is great hope for Indo-Pak peace after the India elections in May 2019.

Not really. His name is Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan got elected through a regional party from UP called Samajwadi Party (neither Congress nor BJP). Amitabh Bachchan himself was close friend of former PM of India, Rajiv Gandhi (Congress party). Yes he does Tourism ads and acts as brand ambassador for Swatch Bharat government program but he cannot be considered as a BJP man. That could be considered as a purely financial deal with the government.
