So no apology required from people that committed atrocities on defenceless BD civilians?

Pakistan has to unconditionally apologise like Germany did after ww2 in order to be accepted by the BD populace as a friendly nation.

PS - BD can arm itself just fine without Pakistan's assistance. It has a large and fast enough growing economy to do it.

Bangladesh does not need Pakistan in any way.

They r totally insignificant as far as economy and global politics is concerned.

India has captured Kashmir from them and they could not do a zilch against them apart from occasionally crying to UN in last 70 years even after having a strong local support.

We should rather focus on making our already strong relationship with India, China, KSA, and all the other strategically important countries even stronger rather than building a cordial relationship with Pak who r good at nothing. It serves us no purpose.

As long as Pak is not apologizing for their atrocity in 71, good relationship between these two nations is not possible.

He's one of the greatest leaders from Asia who played the pivotal role to create a beautiful country called BD. What Pakisnatis think of him is totally irrelevant. He humiliated Pak in the global arena by making its army surrender. So, obviously Pakistanis will have grudge against him.

Correct but also a little incorrect. In the first population census in 1880 during the British time, it was found that the Muslims in the entire Bengal (Bangladesh and West Bengal combined but not other states under the Presidency of Bengal) constituted about 35% of the total population. The Muslim population increased to more than 50% in the 1940s because of the birth of too many children in Muslim families and fewer people were dying of diseases like cholera or smallpox, diarrhea. Add also child marriages and widow marriages among the Muslims.

The similar phenomenon you can notice also in the population of now Bangladesh and Pakistan. When BD population was just above 70 million in 1970, the Pakistani population was about 60 million. Now, we are 160 million but they are 200 million. It is a complete reversion and is similar to the Hindu and Muslim demographics of Bengal.
