I was watching a Hollywood movie today called, "A Bridge of Spies" and in that movie it shows US spy planes stationed at Peshawar Airbase.

I was watching a Hollywood movie today called, "A Bridge of Spies" and in that movie it shows US spy planes stationed at Peshawar Airbase.

The U2 saga has been mentioned in a number of Hollywood movies. But i think "A Bridge of Spies" is the best.

I believe it should be moved to a location of what was FATA. Away from the congested city. It should be at Jamrud.

I think Peshawar base lost it second runway due to commercial traffic and terminal and no longer can be utilized but not sure length wise it was enough perhaps only for smaller planes

It crosses main runway

I think the one you are mentioning was the old runway built pre partition,currently a taxi runway,has no utility apart for emergency landings of small planes!!
